Mechanical Construction
Gootee is capable of performing a wide range of commercial plumbing and HVAC work, either as a mechanical subcontractor or a prime contractor. Our services include plumbing, chill water, heating water and medical gas. From basic plan and spec work to complicated design build projects, Gootee Construction can handle any job.
Prime Contractor
Gootee excels in projects for which we serve as the prime contractor. Whether it is an air unit change out, central plant work, or an entire renovation project, Gootee can perform and manage this work for you. Clients such as the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, Tulane University, Children’s Hospital New Orleans, and Ochsner Health Systems have continued to trust Gootee with their critical projects.
Fabrication Shop
Gootee Construction has a 75,000 square foot fabrication shop and warehouse located in Harvey, LA. In the fab shop, our mechanics and welders pre-fabricate materials in a controlled environment, which allows us to carry out higher quality work at a more rapid pace than is possible on site. We are also able to store tools and materials in our warehouse, allowing for shorter material lead time and a safer, more organized job site.
BIM (BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING)
Gootee has an internal drafting team who have full utilization of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology. BIM allows Gootee to more closely analyze drawings and prevent rework before even mobilizing in the field. BIM coupled with our pre-fabrication capabilities makes for better project delivery to our customers.
Service and T.A.B.
Gootee Service provides a full spectrum of HVAC and plumbing services to commercial and industrial clients. Since we provide the most comprehensive range of HVAC and plumbing services in the region, we can handle every aspect of building comfort. As a certified NEBB firm, Gootee can provide properly tested, balanced and/or commissioned HVAC systems for your new or existing system.
